I have always saw posts of these awesome products on my Facebook timeline and have been dyyyying to try it out. I grabbed a haircare sampler combo while there was a 25% off code being offered.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1322502514-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1322502514-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>The haircare sampler combo includes the Aloe Spritz Healing Conditioner, African Black soap and Chocolate Whipped Hair Butter with Black Seed Oil.<br />
<br />
First let me say her packaging was a-dor-able. I am obviously in love with anything cutesy and girly and this line has seriously got me sold!! The smells are sooooo yummy! My daughter and I couldn't get enough of it.<br />
<br />
Let me start off with the Aloe Spritz Healing Conditioner. This is an Aloe-Vera multi-purpose spritzer. <br />
<br />
<b>The claim:</b> Soothes dry and damaged hair and skin. Protects against the sun and will leave your hair and skin moisturized, super soft and refreshed and looking hydrated.<br />
<br />
<b>Ingredients:</b> organic aloe-vera, glycerin, honey grape-seed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin e, essentail oil blend, natural fragrance<br />
<br />
This spritz is aaaamazing. I have never used a daily spritz on Leelee before and always wanted to. This is perfect! After spritzing this on Leelee's hair it left it sooo moisturized right away! It also leaves the right shine to it. Plus, it smells just like a candy cane! The only thing I don't like about it is that it leaves my hands pretty sticky. It leaves her hair the same way if I apply too much but eventually her hair soaks it up and it disappears.<br />
<br />
Here is a photo of her hair with just the spritz to moisturize.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319002861-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="555" width="421" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319002861-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><br />
Next up is the Chocolate Whipped Hair Butter with Black Seed oil.<br />
<br />
<i>Indulge your senses with Chocolashea's Peppermint Patty Hair Candy with a super fun natural aroma. This creamy nourishing Hair Butter is 100% natural super rich with hair loving vitamins and packed with Hair nourishing oils such as coconut oil, based with Pure African Shea, Organic Cocoa Butter, and black seed oil. Ingredients that stimulate the scalp and promote hair growth. Our soothing formula glides nicely on your hair leaving it soft, supple adding a natural shine and unique scent. A little goes a very long way. This Hair Butter is supper light for easy application and also excellent for dry sensitive skin and great for stretchmarks! 100% Natural!</i><br />
<br />
<b> The claim:</b> Promotes healthy, strong and shiny growing hair.<br />
<br />
<b>Ingredients:</b> signature natural butter blend, black seed oil, honey, vitamin e, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, glycerin, essential oils. <br />
<br />
This Butter contains omega-6 and omega-3 essential fatty acids, which help provide moisture for your hair and encourage hair growth and strength. Specifically, the gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) in black currant seed oil is an omega-6 acid that can help prevent hair thinning, splitting and dryness, according to Dr. Andrew Weil.<br />
<br />
First off, this product smells like nutty chocolate! MMmmmmM good! This product is pretty thick and doesn't melt easily for us. I normally wouldnt use products like this but it did a really good job at moisturizing her hair and keeping it that way. It smells so delicious and works great as a combo with the spritz. Everytime Leelee sees me pulling it out to usr on her she goes, "yayy! Chocolate for m hair!"<br />
<br />
Here is a pic using both the aloe vera spritz and whipped hair butter. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319164846-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="510" width="450" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319164846-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1322502841-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1322502841-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>Along with my order, Ladrica was generous enough to include chocolate kiss lip balm, candied cakes cuticle and massage oil and <br />
<br />
<br />
I love love love the candied cakes cuticle and massage oil! It smells like sugary sweet cookie and cakes! I have to hide it from Leelee or she will try to use it all! Lol i'm so sad though because I decided to carry it in my purse and half of the bottle (4oz!!) emptied out into my purse! Atleast, my purse smells good now :(<br />
<br />
The chocolate lip balm was too dry for my lips and didn't do much moisturizing. The other cuticle was something I liked, too!<br />
<br />
In all, I would HIGHLY recommend trying out this line. I absolutely am IN LOVE with the products (If you can't already tell lol) Def check out <a href="http://www.chocolashea.com">www.Chocolashea.com</a> and "LIKE" their <a href="http://www.facebook.com/Chocolashea">Facebook page</a> as well. She is always offering randon discounts and codes so dont miss out!!<br />
<br />
Btw, come back .....I don't know, tomorrow? For a surprise! I thought it was SUPER cute and had to do it. The night before I actually already did the left side with the heart design and I put her to sleep like that because I was stumped and didn't know what to do to the rest of her hair. The next morning I saw this post and decided to incorporate it into what I already had and it turned out great!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319953125-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319953125-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>This is the top left side with the "heart". <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1320600589-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="240" width="320" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1320600589-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>The right side of the style. Sorry its blurry. I basically flat twisted all around her head and tied it off when I reached the left side.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319953370-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="599" width="388" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319953370-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>She actually wore this style for Halloween as well. She was a fairy and it went great with it. & babydoll was a lil bumblebee. I didn't get any good pics :( but they did have a lot of fun!allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-71620011403955310692011-11-03T11:19:00.000-07:002011-11-03T11:25:48.077-07:00Review: Ladybug Jane lip balm + Facebook Giveaway!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319995051-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319995051-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>I have recently been given the opportunity to review some yummy eco-friendly flavored lipbalm by <a href="http://www.ladybugjane.com">LadyBug Jane.<br />
</a><br />
These lip balms are 100% natural and organic vegan. It is nut free, petroleum free and paraben free. They offer many different flavors - Bursting Berry, Crazy Coconut, Groovy Grape, Sweet Strawberry, Vanilla Cupcake and Wacky Watermelon. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319995107-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319995107-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>I chose wacky watermelon and vanilla cupcake. The vanilla cupcake smells awesome!!!! It is also very soft on my lips, practically melted once it came into contact. That good! Unfortunantely, this product didn't work for me liked I wanted them to. It took me awhile to finally write up this review because the first time I tested it out, my lips became really itchy, red and irritated. I was afraid to try it out again, but figured I might as well to properly review. The product works GREAT on my daughter and she is in love with it! The second time I tried it wasn't as bad. It worked and my lips get a bit itchy here and there but not like the very first time. I'm still not sure what it is , but it can very possibly be something I am allergic to since I've gotten the same reaction before diff lip balms as well. Nonetheless, I still use it once in awhile.<br />

Shame on me! After, this month I am going to try my hardest to NOT buy anything else in regards to hair until next year...............I doubt it lol BUT I will try my hardest to not buy anything else unless we truly need it (or Bee Mine has a sale!) Because I have realized that we have a ton of products opened right now and I honestly don't like it. I don't want to waste any products either.<br />
<br />
Now to the good stuff.<br />
<b>HAIR</B><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/3Oct2011023119GMT-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/3Oct2011023119GMT-1.jpg" /></a></div><b>3 packs of 24 hair ties at $3</b> - Purchased from the dollar store. So far, I like these hair ties! They are similiar to the Faded Glory brand found at Walmart sold for $2.50 I don't remember how many came in those packs though. I actually went to a different Dollar Storr today and found more colors! Even a pack of all black *sigh* I was so tempted lol next time...next time.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/3Oct2011023207GMT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/3Oct2011023207GMT.jpg" /></a></div><b>Carrot oil by Hollywood Beauty $2.84</b> - bought @ Winco (grocery store) I will do a review soon! Basically, I got this after hearing a few things about carrot oil. It helps with hair breakage, split ends and hair damage.<br />
<br />
<b>Headwraps $.88</B> - Purchased at Winco as well and snagged it on sale. I thought these were too cute to pass up esp at the price!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319953186-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319953186-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><B>Cara B products (!!!) $28.00</b> - Purchased during their awesome buy 1 get 1 free sale! I def could not pass this up, it was a great opportunity to try out their products. Review soon!!!<br />
<br />
<B> NAILS </B> (sorry no pics!)<br />
<b> (2) Sinful Colors nail polish buy 1 get 1 50% off</b> - Rite Aid had a buy 1 get 1 50% off a few weeks ago (I also heard Walgreens had another one of their frequent sales of. 99ea recently. Thankfully, I missed it!). I picked up two, somewhat similiar colors, "slate" and "thimbleberry"<br />
<br />
Wet N Wild nailpolish $.74 - Another sale CVS usually always has in certain Wet N Wild polishes. Picked up the color "Dreamy Poppy" a pinkish color to add to my collection for Breast Cancer Awarenes.<br />

<br />
This color is called "slate". Its a really nice dark grey with some shimmer in it. This is two coats. At first when applying I thought it was going to be sheer and I would have to apply a ton of coats, but after the 2nd it was perfect. I really like this color and think its great for fall. I also picked up another color, of course! Check back for that one!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319095559-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1319095559-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-12309413409839224982011-10-24T09:09:00.000-07:002011-10-24T09:09:00.079-07:00kids braid out with sheamoistureHere is a braid out on Leelee's hair using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and sealing with castor oil. It reminded of a princess. I simply just sectioned out a part it in the front and braided a few braids going back. I then divided them in half to braid the braids together and wrap around her head, and then secured them together where they met in the middle. Then, I braided all together and secured it with a barrette . The back was left out. What does it do? Read our post on <a href="http://allthingscuteandgirly.blogspot.com/2011/07/banding-30-day-challenge-day-3-book-i.html">banding</a>. Here is a quick banded style we did that was different from our normal banding routine. I decided to quickly do this after washing her hair. I was tired of always leaving it out so I decided to band it.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318311177-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318311177-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318446843-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="544" width="360" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318446843-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>For posts with similiar banding styles check out <a href="http://www.divalocks10.com/2011/09/banded-style.html">Diva Locks Diva Diva Dos & everything in between</a> and <a href=" http://braidwithme.blogspot.com/2011/08/were-back-with-twist.html"> Braid with Me.<br />

You know I had to do this print! You can never go wrong with it. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317846820-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317846820-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-8893934684647771782011-10-10T09:15:00.000-07:002011-10-10T09:15:01.036-07:00kid's braided hairstyle part III wanted to update on the current style we have in now. If you missed the first post check out <a href="http://allthingscuteandgirly.blogspot.com/2011/10/kids-braided-hairstyle.html">kid's braided hairstyle</a><br />
<br />
As you can see in the previous post all I did to the style was braid it all together and either secure it at the back or leave it to hang on the side like a ponytail.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318142385-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318142385-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>To switch up the style a bit I left her hair braided together in the left side. Once I got to the right side I gathered hair and braided it together like this to get this look <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318142436-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318142436-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318171149-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="600" width="394" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318171149-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>I then added beads. These are glow in the dark beads and our first time using them. They don't glow too much at night unless you "charge" them by putting them close to light beforehand. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318170948-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="600" width="394" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1318170948-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-5972899431072195572011-10-09T17:03:00.000-07:002011-10-09T17:06:54.208-07:00confetti nail polish - lonesome doveHere is the nailpolish I purchased last month as seen in our <a href="http://allthingscuteandgirly.blogspot.com/2011/10/september-monthly-buys.html">September buys</a> post. I picked it up at CVS for $1.99. Its called Confetti long wearing nail color in lonesome dove. It is a light grey color. I love how this nail polish is. The consistency seems watery but after two applications the color is great. For this color, it stays true to its claim of "long wearing" with Sinful Colors I get about 2-3, maybe 4 days of use. This color lasted up until I took it off at about one and a half weeks. It actually didn't chip at all with a regular top coat. I will be checking out more of their nail polishes to see how I like it. Stayed tuned to see the design I did with this color. Have you used this brand before? <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317846615-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317846615-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-61524637208836789342011-10-07T08:24:00.000-07:002011-10-07T08:32:57.797-07:00side braided style with braid outHave you ever sat down to do a style and had no idea where you were going with it? Squirmy kid? Frustrated? Didnt turn out how you wanted? AND didnt want to even bother taking it out after all the time spent? Well thats what happened to us with this style!<br />
<br />
The idea came from <a href="http://www.natural-hair-care-info.com/hairstyles-for-naturally-curly-hair.html">this</a>style by <a href="http://www.natural-hair-care-info.com/index.html">natural-hair-care-info.com</a><br />

Check out <a href="http://boysandgirlsnaturalcurls.blogspot.com/2011/10/all-things-cute-girly-hair-blooper.html">boysandgirlsnaturalcurls</a> to see the original blooper style!<br />
<br />

It can be similiar to a braided headband (if its braided closer to the front) or even a horizontal mohawk. its very similiar. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317848042-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317848042-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317848097-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="640" width="480" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317848097-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>After its all braided up you can either wrap it around in the back and secure with a bobbypin or let it hang like a side pony (: <br />

<b>review:</b> I chose the color "mermaid" which is a nice turquoise color that I have always been looking for. I dont see many nice shades like this in store so I immediately chose this color and guess what? I love it!!!! The only thing I dont like about it is that because the top is circular and big its hard to hold on and apply. Its bulky to me and not something I like. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1316974731-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1316974731-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><center>in the sunlight </center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317093211-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317093211-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-4389358182692017002011-10-02T14:09:00.000-07:002011-10-02T14:09:22.650-07:00Breast Cancer Awareness nail design<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317506978-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317506978-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>You can purchase I &hearts boobies merchandise <a href="http://www.loserkids.com/index/page/category/category_id/189#product_listing=%3Fcurrent_page%3D1%26results_per_page%3D12%26order_by%3Dcategory_product_position%26search_params%3DCategory_DELIMITER_id%3A189%3A%3AProduct_DELIMITER_custom_super_search_category%3A39%26search%3Dtrue">here</a><br />

Get ready to see styles with lots of pink in the linkies!<br />
<br />
I wanted to braid the logo but we ended up with x's lol. We actually did several styles and was unhappy with a lot.<br />
<br />
We finally settled on a simple bun with two cornrows along the hair line meeting in the back and finished off with heart beads (pink of course!) at the ends.<br />
<br />
Sorry for the lighting of the pics. It doesnt show the pink accessories well.<br />
<br />
For this style we did a sock bun. <br />
<br />
Items needed: <br />
Old sock or stockings<br />
Ouchless pony tail holder<br />
Rat tail comb for parting the cornrows at the hair line<br />
Boar brush for smoothing<br />
Hair accessories<br />
Gel<br />
<br />
I followed these instructions from <a href="http://www.happygirlhair.com/2010/10/mini-sock-buns.html">HappyGirlHair</a> and got this:<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317019729-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="551" width="327" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317019729-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317019431-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="559" width="295" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317019431-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317019612-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="280" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317019612-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><br />
Here is also another cool way to do a sock bun that I havent tried yet from <a href="http://mainlybraids.blogspot.com/2011/09/how-we-do-sock-bun.html ">Mainly Braids</a> For accessories we used a cute light pink flower clip on top and heart beads for the braids.<br />

<br />
Here's what we picked up:<br />
<br />
Lou Ana pure coconut oil - we got this in the baking section of Walmart instead of the one they normally carry because they said its not longer available. I haven't used this on her hair yet. Just to make some yummy sweet potato fries!<br />
<br />
The first thing I noticed upon opening was the smell. There's no smell! Which I am not use to. I found out this is refined coconut oil which means its impurities were screened out which removed its distinctive odor. Prior to this we used extra virgin coconut oil that was UNrefined. Soooo I'm a little hesitant to use it on her hair but I will for sure update and let you know how it goes.<br />
<br />
Goody Ouchless shower comb: the pink comb we purchased from Sally's broke within weeks! The teeth just began to snap (see pic below). I picked this up at Walmart as well. So far so good. Its very sturdy, too which I love.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317493076028_15473.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1317493076028_15473.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<center><i>po lil tink tink</center></i><br />
<br />
Desert Essence 100% pure Jojoba Oil - This purchase is the beginning of a bunch of other oils and essential oils I plan to buy for mixes. I have not used it yet but decided to buy this first because it was the cheapest 6.99-8.99 and I have also heard Jojoba oil is the best carrier oil for essential oils. I grabbed this from our local grocery store in the organic section.<br />
<br />
Confetti nail polishes - purchased at CVS for $1.99ea . I got Happy Birthday (a dark glittery purple) and Lonesome Dove (a light grey) will post reviews soon.allthingscuteandgirlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15586190564314386426noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6839854224353076737.post-72531332797465392442011-09-25T15:48:00.000-07:002011-09-26T11:22:09.373-07:00product review: nail foils from kkcenterhk<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1316847991-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="380" width="440" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1316847991-picsay.jpg" /></a></div>I'm excited to review these nail patches/stickers/foils/wraps I received from<a href="http://www.kkcenterhk.com">kkcenterhk</a> to review.http://<br />
<br />
I have no idea the proper name even though one says nail sticker and the other says nail patch because I know this product is also known as nail foil and nail wraps as well. In case you aren't familiar with these products it is an alternative to nail polish. They are decorative (or plain) foils that are applied to fingernails or toenails. They are hard to apply (atleast to me) and some salons do it as well since theyre more qualified. <br />
<br />
There are nail foils that require t<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/PicsIn_1316975252213.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="249" width="356" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/PicsIn_1316975252213.png" /></a></div><br />
he use of heat to apply, salons use a heat lamp but you can also use a hair dryer at home. Some even us it without the heat and there are some that just need water.<br />
<br />
I totally forgot about the use of heat when I did this review. When I first heard about nail foils I watched a tutorial and one used heat while another just applied it and smoothed it out onto the nails. Anyway, this my first time using these types of products.<br />
<br />
For this tutorial I used the design with the hearts. <br />
<br />
1.)I first removed any previous polish I had on. <br />
2.)Then chose the nail foil that was closest in size to my nail bed and cut it out. <br />
3.)I removed the backing and placed the rounded corner on my nail bed. <br />
4.) Gently smoothed the nail foil as much as I could without creating any bubbles.<br />
5.) Cut off excess foil<br />
6.) Filed gently in a downward motion to file the rest of the foil off.<br />
<br />
And you're done! I wasn't too happy with the results. I was a bit too excited to try this and I did it while my kids were awake so you can imagine how that went. I rushed through it and didn't take my time.<br />
<br />
It probably looks better in the pics because I tried to hide the flaws lol<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1316839640-picsay.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left:1em; margin-right:1em"><img border="0" height="400" width="400" src="http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee422/allthingscuteandgirly/1316839640-picsay.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
To remove is easy. It says to wash off with warm water and soap. All I had to do was peel it off. No problems! Btw, this only lasted me a few hours! Everybody has different experiences though and I am no expert at applying these..yet.<br />
<br />
Pros: <br />
It def beats having to smell nail polish!<br />
It comes in really cute designs (a plus for people who are not good at doing nail designs)<br />
No drying time! <br />
Easy, to a certain extent and based on your skills<br />
<br />
Cons:<br />
Contradicting myself a bit here, but it can be difficult to apply if you do not know what you're doing.<br />
Doesnt seem to last too long<br />
<br />
You can purchase these items at www.kkcenterhk.com or simply search nail foils or patches to see what else comes up. Sally Hansen also sells cute nail stickers as well!<br />
