I had no style in mind when I came up with this and I'm happy with the way it turned out. This was also the first time doing layer braids.
The back was done in 2 layers of braids going sideways with beads at the ends.
this was the top tied off.
the ends were finished off with two 3-strand twists. These pics were done a few days later and the 3-strand twists were falling apart :(

Love it!!!! This is the cutest style! Twist fall apart in Chaelas hair too
This looks REALLY GOOD!!! I love the style you gave her... You ROCK at layers... I may have to try this on BB!! :)
Char~
Looks good from here. I love it. As for the twist it has to do with the fine-ness of her hair. Des' still do that.
Carol thanks
Char you def need to try the layers. Its really cute. But this was the only way they would fit. I tried a layer style bbb did and it wouldn't fit lol
Nikki same here! I have so many accessories that I don't use. I often use the glitter beads I got from Walmart but they seem to break easily. I tried to put the crown as the last bead and it didn't work. I wasn't sure how to secure it. For the braids I braided two cornrows on the side. Then did a braid in the middle and crisscrossed..I hope I made sense!
Michelle- 3 strand twists are the only twists that seem to last long on her hair too even though it falls apart so easily. I think I need to tighten them more.
I love doing layers, and this is cute!
You free-styled this?!! Jealous... I wanna try layers next too!
I've never seen the crown beads before - they're cute! And I haven't attempted to criss-cross cornrows - yet - gonna have to give this a try. Love this style!!!
This is so cute! Beautiful job!
